Jeff, It was the mailorder catalog for Restoration Hardware that
Russell referred to wrt blending vintage with modern.
Glad you enjoyed the visit. Regarding the _______, that is a
confidential external job so please do not make specific report on
that part of your visit.

Andreas,
I can’t thank you enough for the tour today. I certainly appreciate you
taking the time to introduce me to people. That was very exciting to learn
Philip’s design process as well as talk to the designers. I meant to write
the title of the magazine down that they were using for inspiration on the
door bell project but forgot it. Do you remember the title?
I look forward to our next meeting topic. Perhaps I’ll see you at the Karim
Rashi event at SCAD.
Thanks,
Jeff

Andreas,
Good to hear from you. I actually decided to completely rethink my
camping project two days before my final presentation so I don’t have a
working prototype as of yet. I still have to do a bunch of work on it
before it will be ready to test. I could compile some of my sketches and
technical drawings so I could get some feedback on it. I really need to
start compiling my portfolio for this summer. It’s hard to make time but it
is essential.
Well unfortunately I have studio class on Wednesday morning 9-12 pm.
Could we do it Tuesday or Thursday? I really would like the opportunity to
see the studio before you leave Philips. Can I ask where you are going?
I really look forward to hearing your talk for professional practice. All
my classmates are really excited you are coming.
